Here is the 1/2″ cardboard model we made to consolidate a number of decisions into one object. It was very helpful after hours of drawings and debates over elevations to finally see something physical again in front of us. This is the complete design, at least in schematic form. Here we were able to begin exploring more the details that could really bring the structure to life. One of the more prominent ideas explored from here on out was the means by which the structure could express its own deconstructability. Visible in this model was the first effort and making the columns and the beams detached, the roof becoming a floating object above the rest of the structure
